Article 14 explained that, to focus on your core skill and advantage, remain agile, reduce the capital needed to start a business, and so on, it is better to outsource any work that can be outsourced.

But outsourcing also has rules that must be observed:

A- Provide the external business with sufficient, necessary data and information.
These inputs must clearly specify your requirements and obligations, without leaving room for interpretation or ambiguity.
Example: a company sends its contracted stationery supplier a request for a "kazio": a multi-level desk tray used to organize documents and papers.

The supplier sends a desk tray to the customer company, but they do not like it and return it.
The company now completes its request as follows: a three-tier desk tray, made of plastic, gray in color, with adjustable numbers of tiers. Finally, it sends the supplier a photograph of a similar product.

B- Define the competencies and characteristics of the people involved in the outsourced work.
Example: a restaurant informs its food delivery service that motorcyclists must wear uniforms, be neat and clean, behave politely toward customers, know how to transport and hand over food, and refrain from doing wheelies while carrying it!

C- As explained in article 20, specify how the supplier and the business communicate.

D- The business must establish whether the outsourced work has been performed correctly.

Example: the Snapp app @snapp_team surveys passengers about driver performance after each trip. Banimode @ banimodecom calls after delivering each order to ask the customer about the courier's performance and how the order was handed over.
Remember, however, that wherever possible the business itself should inspect and approve the product or service before it reaches the customer.

E- The business must monitor supplier performance according to a plan.
Example: because food quality and safety are extremely sensitive, airlines maintain a continuous supervisor at their catering facilities.

Important point: the level of attention and control applied to a supplier depends on how their work affects products, services and customer satisfaction.

Even the best product in the world can become defective and useless during transport and delivery to the customer.
